The week before Brylee Crutcher turned 15, she was diagnosed with malignant ovarian cancer. When she received an opportunity from Make-a-Wish to have her own wish granted, there was no question what it would be. For as long as she can remember, Brylee has been obsessed with Miniature West Highland cows. In October 2023, the Tractor Supply Company Foundation teamed up with Make-a-Wish Middle Tennessee to gift Brylee a West Highland cow of her own. During the wish reveal—the Foundation’s 12th—40 of Brylee’s neighbors and friends joined Tractor Supply Team Members on the family’s farm to surprise her. Brylee describes being “overwhelmed with happiness” upon meeting her new best friend, who she named Homer. With the help of more than 20 vendor partners, the Foundation provided Brylee with everything she would need to care for him.
