In 2023, Tractor Supply Company Foundation made an $850,000 donation to American Farmland Trust (AFT) in celebration of the company’s 85th anniversary. The donation supports AFT’s Brighter Future Fund, providing 85 grants of $10,000 each to help farmers improve farm viability; access, transfer or permanently protect farmland; and adopt regenerative agricultural practices.
The largest agriculture scholarship of its kind, the $5 million FFA Future Leaders Scholarship supports the next generation in agriculture as students pursue their studies at trade schools, community colleges and 4-year universities.
The Paper Clover fundraising campaign has raised a cumulative $20 million for local 4-H clubs. Contributions fund educational programs and provide all 4-H members with the opportunity to engage in enriching camps, conferences and community projects in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, agriculture, healthy living and civic engagement.
In celebration of Earth Week 2023, over 175 volunteers from the Tractor Supply Store Support Center came together to plant 350 trees and remove five acres of invasive species at Harlinsdale Farms in Nashville, Tennessee.
Hazel, a 3-year-old who going through chemotherapy treatments, fighting cancer had one wish - a playset she saw on the Tractor Supply website. The Tractor Supply Foundation and Backyard Products, teamed up with Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee and created an outside oasis with swings, monkey bars, a climbing wall and a slide to make Hazel’s wish come true. This scholarship spotlights young ladies as the next generation of leaders who exhibit courage, grit and grace while honoring faith, family and freedom. Grit & Grace is unique because it’s the first community-focused organization to have an official alignment with Professional Bull Riders (PBR).
Over 40 volunteers from the Tractor Supply Store Support Center supported the farm at Cul2vate by planting seeds and starters for the next year of harvesting in Nashville, Tenn.
The campus of Denham Springs Elementary was destroyed by flooding in August of 2016. FEMA and the school district funded a new school but not a playground. Daniel Jarrell, Store Manager at Tractor Supply, could see the children playing in an open field with no playground equipment so he contacted the Tractor Supply Foundation which gave a $10K grant to help build a new playground. Now children can swing and slide and climb on the playground set, built by a community who cared.
The Tractor Supply Company Foundation Arena at Harlinsdale hosts professional arena polo matches and instruction, horse shows of all kinds, and other public events including the two-day Pilgrimage Festival that attracts top musical talent and thousands of fans. This venue is unique because 60% of the events hosted there involve or benefit equine.
The Waverly Nebraska Tractor Supply Distribution Center Team Member Lauren Bestwick reached out to rescues in Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Texas and Louisiana to donate 67 pallets of dog food. In total, approximately 84,420lbs went on to feed dogs through 17 different rescue organizations.
To offer relief from local wildfires and tornado damage, the Tractor Supply Foundation donated $50,000 to the State of Texas Agriculture Relief Fund (STAR), which is available through the Texas Department of Agriculture to provide aid to farmers, ranchers, producers, and agribusiness owners adversely impacted by natural disasters.
The Tractor Supply Foundation partnered with the R.I.S.E. Team Member Engagement group to donate $25,000 to Farms to Grow in Oakland, California. The organization works to promote the sustainability and legacy of Black farmers as well as sprout the next generation of small farmers. Additionally, the group documents and disseminates farm history to advance the public's understanding of the important roles of Black farmers. Their work improves access to urban food markets including schools, restaurants and individual consumers for underserved farmers.

Recipients of the Farmer Veteran Coalition grant, this couple transitioned their 100-year-old dairy operation to a 100% grass-fed model of beef production. Elisa says they focus on soil health practices and water quality efforts.
Nine-year-old Caroline is battling neuroblastoma, and her special wish was to provide for special needs rescue and shelter dogs. Tractor Supply hosted Caroline and her family for a surprise shopping spree at our South Franklin, Tennessee store, where she picked out treats, toys and beds for dogs in need.
