Response to COVID-19

As an essential, needs-based retailer, Tractor Supply is committed to taking care of our Team Members, customers and communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Here are a few key actions we are taking to protect and support those we care most about:

Customers
  • Tractor Supply and Petsense stores are staying open to provide customers the needs-based products they rely on to care for their families, homes, land, pets and animals.
  • We have increased our inventory supply for essential products such as livestock feed, equine feed, pet food and other critical consumable items.
  • We are adding Team Member hours in our stores and are well on our way to hiring an additional 5,000 people to ensure we can continue to provide legendary customer service and promote safety in stores.
  • We are conducting additional daily cleanings and have implemented additional safety protocols in our stores to maintain a safe shopping environment.
  • Investments in technology through Mobile Point of Sale, Same Day/Next Day delivery capabilities and contactless payment options across the entire chain will enhance the safety of customers’ shopping experience and provide greater convenience.
  • To deliver on customer expectations and provide a smoother shopping experience, Tractor Supply is rolling out a redesigned e-commerce site at www.TractorSupply.com and our first-ever mobile app by the end of June.
  • Our store teams have been educated on the CDC’s guidelines for social distancing to limit exposure to other individuals, and we are marking floors and adding signage to help customers and Team Members maintain safe distances.
  • Tractor Supply stores are offering Contactless Curbside Delivery for Buy Online, Pickup In Store orders with a minimum of two parking spots allocated for these services. Customers can call the store phone number once they arrive at the store, and a Team Member will bring the order to their vehicle.
  • Every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., stores have dedicated an exclusive shopping hour for high-risk customers and seniors 60 and older.
Team Members
  • The health and safety of Tractor Supply Team Members, customers and communities is of the utmost priority. Our goal is to take care of our Team Members first and foremost, so they can, in turn, take care of customers.
  • The Company is offering up to two weeks of paid sick leave to any Team Members affected by COVID-19 to ensure no one has to come to work sick.
  • In recognition of the dedication of its Team Members, the Company paid incremental appreciation bonuses from March 16 to June 27 to Team Members who were required to be at Tractor Supply and Petsense facilities to assist customers and operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Beginning June 28, we have adopted permanent wage increases for Team Members at all stores and distribution centers.
  • As Tractor Supply continues to prioritize the care of our Team Members long term, we announced enhancements to our compensation and benefits for Team Members, including offering a new benefit package for part-time Team Members with medical, vision and dental coverage, paid sick time and life insurance.
  • Through the Company’s medical plan, we are offering 100% coverage of COVID-19 medical treatment and are waiving cost-sharing for telehealth visits for any reason under the Company’s medical plan to help Team Members limit exposure in physician offices and give needed relief to medical facilities.
  • We have installed plexiglass barriers at cashier stands in stores and are providing increased personal protective equipment to Team Members (gloves, masks, face shields, sanitizer). Per CDC best practices, we are requiring all Team Members to wear masks.
  • We have implemented temperature checks and a wellness self-check for all Team Members, including a reminder at each daily clock-in, to keep our customers and fellow Team Members safe.
Communities
  • Tractor Supply has committed $2 million for charitable giving through the establishment of the Tractor Supply Company Foundation and a donation to the Company’s existing Employee Assistance Fund.
  • Through an initial donation of $1.5 million, the Tractor Supply Company Foundation is committed to the growth and development of rural areas with an initial focus on COVID-19 recovery efforts.
  • An additional donation of $500,000 to the existing Tractor Supply Employee Assistance Fund will offer financial aid to Team Members most impacted by COVID-19.
  • We contributed $250,000 to the New York State COVID-19 First Responders Fund to support COVID-19 frontline healthcare workers with expenses and costs, including food, transportation, childcare and housing assistance.

Dear Neighbor,

With the rapid changes across the nation due to the coronavirus (COVID‐19), I wanted to update you on the proactive steps we are taking at Tractor Supply to serve you, your family and your animals' needs today and in the longer term.

We know you view Tractor Supply as critical to feeding and caring for your animals and pets, just as the grocery store is to your family's needs. We feel a tremendous responsibility to you, and knowing this, we are taking the following steps:

  • We are adding Team Member hours in our stores to ensure we can provide legendary customer service.
  • We are adjusting our store hours to ensure our Team Members are available to help you. We continue to be humbled and proud of our Team Members across the country and thank you for the kindness and care you are showing them. Effective Sunday, March 22, our revised hours are:
    • Monday — Saturday: 8 a.m. ‐ 6 p.m.
    • Sunday: 9 a.m. ‐ 6 p.m. (Sunday hours vary by store – check online for your store's Sunday hours)
  • We are increasing our inventory supply for essential products such as livestock feed, equine feed, pet food, water and propane.
  • We are extending two weeks of paid leave to our Team Members if they are experiencing any concerning symptoms in order to ensure their health and well‐being as well as yours.
  • To make shopping easier for you and to ensure your products will be waiting for you when you arrive, our website, TractorSupply.com is enabled with Buy Online Pickup In Store. Once you order, we will have the product waiting for you in an hour, and we can hold it for you for up to 2 days.
